YCCD serves a growing eight-county area. To expand access to workforce training and college degrees, your tax dollars funded the purchase of 20 acres of land and the construction of the Sutter County Center, which opened in 2012. The Sutter County Center is the first higher education facility in the county. The 53,000 square foot facility houses 17 classrooms equipped with interactive technology, a library and learning resource center, student success center, student service operations, group study areas, a student café, as well as faculty and administrative offices. In addition, the Center also houses the Small Business Development Center,
