The District is committed to broadening access to technology to support 21st Century learning, job readiness and job placement. Thus, Measure J, Series D bond funds have been used to modernize and expand districtwide technology including upgrading all classrooms to “smart” classrooms and expanding districtwide Wi-Fi capability. Bond funds are also advancing the District’s environmental stewardship goals by enabling energy efficiency projects such as the replacement of outdated heating and air conditioning systems. Districtwide projects have also included improving server room hardware and cooling systems and upgrading security camera and security access card systems as safety measures.
